POST Online Training

The Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training Council is pleased to offer the POST Online Training platform. This free online training is available to all POST-certified officers who have a valid OKey and are in good standing.

POST Online Training provides both on-demand courses for individual students and resources for POST-certified instructors.

Currently, the platform offers four courses that fulfill Required Annual Training requirements: Human Trafficking, Gang Awareness, Duty to Intervene (De-escalation), and Community Policing.

New courses will be announced through the Georgia POST website (gapost.org).

  2. Click on the Profile link at the bottom of your screen. Verify your Profile has the correct email in the Personal Email field and update if necessary.
  3. Click on the Training tab at the top of your screen.
  4. Scroll down and click the Register for a POST Online Training Account button. If you are not eligible, you will not see the button.

Only officers with a valid OKey and in good standing are eligible for an Online Training account.
